continuing Baird’s sandpipers South San Diego Bay 9-18-23

Earlier today (9-18-23), I had 5 continuing lesser yellowlegs in SW pond 23 adjacent to the island off 8th St, and at least 3 continuing Baird’s sandpipers in interior restricted areas of the saltworks (2 in SSE pond 21, 1 in ENE pond 22), though likely visible at times from the bikepath east from 13th St.  (On the 16th, at least 7 to 8 Baird’s continued with 3 in SSE pond 21, 3 in S pond 22, and 1-2 along E to NE pond 22).
