Cabrillo Virginia’s Warbler, Purple Martin 9/25

A Virginia’s Warbler was present this morning (Tues 9/25) at Cabrillo NM around the old drip area and SW side of the main parking lots. A female-type Purple Martin later flew over the lighthouse going N and then NW out over the ocean around 1100.

A cooperative and occasionally calling Dusky Flycatcher was present just outside the N fenceline in the NW corner of Fort Rosecrans from 1000-1030. A Yellow-breasted Chat also put in a brief appearance in the NW corner while attempting views of the Yellow-green Vireo found by Jeff Spaulding.
