bunch of miscellanea
On Saturday the 19th at Nestor Community Park three birds might well be returning, wintering from last year: a WESTERN KINGBIRD at dawn in with the night-roosting flock of Cassin's Kingbirds, a SUMMER TANAGER, and a male Black-thr Gray Warbler (for 4th or 5th year). A male RED-NAPED SAPSUCKER (continues?) at the Bird & Butterfly Garden in the TRV. On Sunday the 20th, a check of Coronado and the edge of the NASNI golf course produced a TROPICAL KINGBIRD in with the flock of Cassin's, which could well be a returning wintering bird, a PLUMBEOUS VIREO, and a dull female BALTIMORE ORIOLE with a group of 3 Bullock's.
