The last scheduled Buena Vista Audubon sponsored pelagic birding trip for 2022 is tomorrow morning, Saturday, Oct. 22. This is a half day trip that departs at 7 a.m. and returns by 1 p.m. We will be aboard the 80ft. Legacy.Those of you who are signed on, please be at the landing and check into the office at Seaforth Sportfishing Landing, in Mission Bay, between 6 and 6;15  We will then gather on the patio for manifest sign in, and orientation before boarding about 6:45 a.m.Parking is free, but be sure you are parked in the lot in front of the landing, or on the street. Lots to the east and west are permit parking only and may tow vehicles left there. Fishing remains good as eight boats depart tonight, so parking can still be a bit of a squeeze. Rideshare, car pool or drop off, is always a great idea.The weather and seas forecast is quite good. It appears we will get this trip in just ahead of a low pressure that is predicted to move through late Saturday. Timing, as always, is everything. Sunday’s ocean looks nasty.
