Brown Thrasher in Vallecito yard in Anza Borrego Desert State Park

Yesterday, morning (Nov 2) at 9:30AM, I spied a Brown Thrasher at the water drip and nyjer feeder in my backyard in Vallecito. Striking reddish-brown bird with dark streaking below, slightly curved-bill and yellow eye, darting through the yard, moving fast, foraging in leaves near drip, approaching the drip, then jumping up onto the nearby nyjer feeder.
