Brown-crested flycatchers

I made a brief stop east of Scissors Crossing this morning. A pair of Brown-crested flycatchers were actively chasing around and calling in the same area a pair nested in 2019. Specifically, that is Hwy 78 along San Felipe Creek, in the area of the large sign that says “Welcome to Anza-Borrego”.
