Bobolink, White-winged Dove, Lawrence’s Goldfinches – Torrey Pines Elementary/Cliffridge Park

Hi everyone,

I took a scan of the ballfields behind Torrey Pines Elementary School in La Jolla this morning, and at 8:40am there was a BOBOLINK and two Lawrence’s Goldfinches with the many House Finches  here: https://goo.gl/maps/TDeusSxHUMWEKxft5

The ballfields are closed “due to maintenance” but the signs and people seemed to indicate that it is fine to stand in the parking lot to scan the field (however multiple chainlink fences and distance make for poor viewing and poorer photos). A late Northern Rough-winged Swallow also did a quick loop before disappearing.

At Cliffridge Park right across the street a little earlier, a White-winged Dove flew by, headed north. A lot of Yellow-rumped Warblers around but not much else in terms of warblers.
