Banded Laysan Albatross information
For those who might be interested, I recently received the information on the banded Laysan Albatross we had on our August 19 pelagic trip. The bird was banded by the Island Conservation group in Mexico (islas.org.mx). It hatched in January 2018 on Guadalupe Island and fledged in June of this year. The project leader reported that they had over 1,200 breeding pairs on the Island this year.
Thanks to Justyn Stahl and Bill Everett for providing the contact information for the project leaders.
