Baltimore Oriole, Balboa Park
Justyn just confirmed that one of the female orioles we had in the Zoo parking lot yesterday during the CBC in Balboa is in fact a Baltimore. She was interningled with a roving flock of 6 Bullock's Orioles and 6 Western Tanagers.
The flock emerged from deep within the zoo around 7:50am and started off in the furthest north coral tree on the west side of the zoo parking lot. The flock slowly worked it's way south, alternating between the coral trees in the parking lot and the tall eucalyptus just inside the zoo fence. The flock eventually disappeared back into the zoo when it got to the Warner Administration Center.
