Balboa Park & Chula Vista minor miscellanea

On Monday the 10th, checks of a number of spots along the west and north sides of Balboa Park were generally disappointing, with the few birds of low-level interest being a total of 3 Western Tanagers and a White-breasted Nuthatch in the sw. corner of the park, continuing Summer Tanager near the lawn bowling and another, female Summer Tanager in the blooming eucs in the canyon just south of Vermont X Cypress along the north edge of park property, and another Western Tanager at Florida X Upas.

On Tuesday the 11th, a check of multiple parks in Chula Vista was also fairly slow, with 2 Western Tanagers, 1 Bullock's Oriole, and a nearby Black-thr Gray Warbler at Hilltop Park; and 2 Yellow Warblers and a Black-thr Gray Warbler near the Sweetwater River.
