Ancient Murrelet report yesterday

An Ancient Murrelet was photographed yesterday morning off Quivira Nasin somewhere near the mouth of Mission Bay. But the news was not shared until now this morning, Tuesday, via eBird. Not a birder I know, and presumably somebody looking for the Yellow-billed loon. The bird could be swimming around still today somewhere on Mission Bay or it could have gone back out to sea, but in any case certainly worth looking for today! Needless to say, if it is refound it should be immediately posted both to the WhatsApp group and the county listserv.
