American Bittern Continues at Kumeyaay Lake

At 8:50 this morning the American Bittern continues at Hollis Lake, just east of Kumeyaay Lake and occasionally visible from the access point north of the Kumeyaay lake loop bridge. The bridge is not safely crossed so you best walk the long way around. The bittern is actively feeding in the deep floating vegetation across the lake. Viewed from 32°50′32″ N  117°1′57″ W
