American Bittern at Dust Devil pond (Del Mar area)

This morning (Aug. 3), Keith spotted an American Bittern in the reeds near the southwest corner of the southmost part of the pond complex.

     We missed the other unusual shorebirds reported in the past few days but saw one Red-necked Phalarope, thanks to Jim Roberts.
