3 pectoral sandpipers at Dust Devil Trail pond 10.30 am

Viewing one now. Immature peregrine flushed them but 1 has returned to the pond. Hope the others are not gone for good. Mid sized sandpiper with yellowish legs, brown mottled back and fine streaking on neck and chest ending sharply at white belly. Like a large least sandpiper. Body was longish in appearance and a bit larger than the red necked phalaropes it was feeding near. Bill appears black at tip and lighter (brownish or reddish?) at base. Whitish supercilium.
